I will be hosting our Benares stand at The Foodies Hampton Court Food Festival from Thursday 28th May to Sunday 30th May 2010. Come along and enjoy our selected dishes in the sunshine of beautiful Hampton Court.

I will be appearing at the "Harvest at Jimmy's Festival" on the 11th and 12th September in Suffolk.

I have just returned after jet-setting around Abu Dhabi and Mumbai after attending the famous World Gourmet Summit in Abu Dhabi. I was a rookie at WGS, so there was a whole lot of things to catch up on and learn. Among several other chefs were Charlie Trotter, Yves Mattagne, Orion (Barcelona Pastry Chef), Lee Chung (first 3 Michelin Star Chinese Chef). Obviously, I was star struck. I couldn't help looking to leap out to shake hands with these stars and have a word with them. About what? I didn't know but it was pleasure to be present in such a function... never mind participating.
And of course, my host Beach Rotana Hotel at Abu Dhabi. This was a fabulous hotel and a great host. I have been told that the kind of cuisine I cook doesn't exist in the Middle East. Obviously, my four days of cooking at the hotel with young chef Ankur Chakraborty was quite a hit. Of all the food I tasted at the hotel – Chef Yves Mattagne's food was the highlight of my visit. His infamous Tuna with Foie Gras was the star of the whole meal. Yves is quite a character and I feel that's what makes his food more special for me.
