Atul Kochhar’s Masterclass

Chef Atul Kochhar recently hosted his first masterclass at Riwaz, making the most of the nice weather and cooking a selection of his well-known dishes for guests in their courtyard.

Throughout the masterclass, Atul cooked classics such as fish lightly steamed in banana leaves, fragrant South Indian-style prawn moilee, and chicken adraki rampant with ginger.

On Saturday 1st October, Atul will host another masterclass, this time at Hawkyns in Amersham. Priced at £180 per person, the masterclass will see Atul share an interactive demonstration on his inspiring interpretation of modern Indian cuisine, cooking his signature dishes while guiding participants through the recipes.

During the demonstration, tea, coffee and pastries will be offered, while a three course lunch will be served after, including a glass of wine. Lunch will kick off with snacks such as dhokla and mini samosas, followed by Malyani spiced chicken tikka or paneer with new potato salad, mains of either prawn moilee, murgh adraki or Kadhai paneer all accompanied by pulao rice, dal and butter naan. To finish, an indulgent chocolate mousse with pistachio kulfi will be offered.

What’s more, guests will also include a signed copy of Atul’s Curry Everyday book to take home and you can even welcome your friends and family to dine with you for lunch.
